The team of Dick Grayson as the new Batman and Damian Wayne as the new Robin debuted in Batman & Robin #1
BATMAN AND ROBIN #1 Written by Grant Morrison Art and cover by Frank Quitely Variant cover by JG Jones Sketch variant cover by Frank Quitely "Batman Reborn" begins here! With the reunited team of Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely (ALL-STAR SUPERMAN, WE3, New X-Men), this first issue kicks off a 3-part story arc that can't be missed! The new Dynamic Duo hit the streets with a bang in their new flying Batmobile as they face off against an assemblage of villains called the Circus of Strange. They also tackle their first mission investigating a child who’s been abducted by the mysterious Domino Killer. But will everything go smoothly? And who exactly are the new Batman and Robin? The newest era of The Dark Knight begins here!
This is a great book to start with if you've been out of the loop for a bit. Obviously Bruce Wayne is dead. So it picks up with the Batman coming back to do what he does best. Pitting Dick Grayson and, the self entitled son of Bruce, Damian Wayne, into a team proves to have the proper dynamics, internally and externally, for some great tale telling. The artwork is top notch and what a new book like this deserves. It just feels right. Get on the list for this title now!

Comic Brew If you could, a short bio of yourself with some information relating to your work within the industry, that would be great. Steve Steiner I was born and raised in Clarion, PA (A small town between Erie, and Pittsburgh). I graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2004 and have since been working as a graphic designer at a newspaper. Zuda is about the only thing I've done in the industry I guess. Before that I did a 32 issues of a self published mini comic entitled "Nobody Can Eat 50 Eggs." I've had 3 comics appear in the competitions at www.zudacomics.com.
CB How long did it take you to be noticed as a professional in the comic world? SS In my mind I'm still waiting to become a professional comic maker. Technically, I guess it depends on what you consider professional. I once read something Scott McCould wrote that if you want to be a professioanl comic maker, make a comic and sell it to your friends. That would have been 3 years ago for me (but I'd been making comics longer than that and giving them away for free.)
CB What drives you to continue work on your comic profession every day? SS I've asked myself that a lot. I really don't know what drives me. I've been making comics since I was in the 9th grade and it just sort of became a lifestyle for me.

What did Variety have to say about it? "As happened with Bond and “Casino Royale,” the Abrams team decided it would be best to go back to the beginning -- earlier, in fact, than the first TV show did in 1966 -- to show the origins of James Kirk and Spock and the launch of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Stir in a well-chosen cast of relative unknowns, a strong new villain, vastly updated special effects and a dynamic style that makes “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” look 60 years old rather than just 30, and you’ve planted the seed for a whole new generation of Trekkies." James Tiberius Kirk - Chris Pine Spock - Zachary Quinto Spock Prime - Leonard Nimoy Capt. Nero - Eric Bana Capt. Christopher Pike - Bruce Greenwood Leonard "Bones" McCoy - Karl Urban Uhura - Zoe Saldana Montgomery "Scotty" Scott - Simon Pegg Sulu - John Cho Chekov - Anton Yelchin Sarek - Ben Cross Amanda Grayson - Winona Ryder George Kirk - Chris Hemsworth Winona Kirk - Jennifer Morrison Gaila - Rachel Nichols Capt. Robau - Faran Tahir Ayel - Clifton Collins Jr. My opinion is this. I'm not a die hard or even soft Star Trek fan or follower. I know it though. As many of us do. I felt the casting was perfect. "Sylar" as Spock, genius and no one else could have done this. Simon Pegg was a brilliant choice as was Karl Urban as "Bones". Karl truley was the character we all know as Dr. McCoy. Ihad no idea until now, that Eric Bana was the Romulan NERO. Very well played! The film works on several levels. It had story, action, and interest.
I'd recommend this flick, go see it!
If you're a die hard Trekkie, be careful and leave that at home. Embrace the new. Embrace the spirit. Live Long and Prosper!
